Churches

 There are 2 Orthodox churches on the territory of the town of Trun:

  • “St. Nicholas” – in the city center and 
  • “St. Petka” – in the neighborhood Barintsi, above which is located and 
  • rock chapel “St. Friday. 

There is also a temple of the Evangelical Pentecostal Church. 

Monasteries 

  • The monastery “St. Archangel Michael “is located 2.5 km north of the city.

Trun eco-trail

The first stage of the Trun eco-trail was opened in 1997 and includes only the area of the famous Trun (Lomnik) gorge. Here you can make a wonderful day trip with a picnic by the river. The walk includes the rock chapel “St. Petka ”in Trun and the villages of Bankya (with the mineral water and the house cut in half by the border) and Busintsi (with the museum of the famous ceramic school), despite the fatigue you will spend a wonderful day.

Caves

Paramuna Mountain is rich in caves and precipices, most of which have been explored and mapped. Of interest to visitors of  Hunting Residence “Paramun” are the caves “Mint”, “Propado” and “Ronya” with many beautiful dendritic formations resembling sea corals. Visiting these caves is done only by well-equipped speleologists and professional guides. There are also many interesting undeveloped caves in the area, where local cave clubs can organize an unforgettable visit.

Hunting residence “Paramun” provides its guests with good opportunities for sport fishing in the dam “Lyalintsi”.

Lyalintsi Dam is the largest dam in the region and is located on an area of 580 decares. with its adjacent terrains. The dam stocked with carp, caracuda, silver carp, grass carp, redfin, etc., offers you peace, unforgettable rest and enjoyment of incredible fishing in a unique and picturesque nature. Located on the land of the village of Lyalintsi in the widening of the Lyalinska River between the Strazha and Lyubash mountains. Its altitude is 920 m and is located 2.5 km. from Hunting Residence Paramun. It is located on the northeastern slopes of Lyubash and the southeastern slopes of Golemi Vrah from Strazha Mountain and the areas east of it to the Yablanitsa River.
